I heard that ogm is possible for streaming ...
Is that true?
If yes, is there any player possible supporting that function?

Besides, is there any other video format designed for streaming?

ogm was derived from ogg, which allows streaming of audio
i dont know if there are already tools which are able to stream ogm+video

you can also use mp4 for streaming (with mp3 or aac audio) and mpeg-4 video (ie from divx5, xvid, 3ivx aso...)

quicktime can already handle streamed mp4 files (audio+video) but there are also other tools which can be used for that

Look at http://www.on2.com (www.on2.com). Latest codec there is vp6. Files with vp6 extension are normal avi's, but .tc7 files are streamable. True Cast Player that is found at on2 website, is needed to play those files.
