divx 3 low motion avi

the avi plays fine but when i try scrolling it freezes, anyway to fix this?

Supposing you are talking of a lag when seeking....
possible solution:
* reducing the kf distance:
by setting a lower keyframe interval...
by forcing a kf on the specific portion
performance tips:

* defragmenting the hdd to ensure correct seeking performance
* be sure to have enough cpu power//memory for that
* reduce performance tab on codec or ffdshow config.
* do not overload the list of software installed in memory...
