CVD Question relating to AVI2DVD (Or CVD)

Just a quick question, does anyone know when the CVD bug in DVD2SVCD will be fixed (wrong aspect ratio used)?

And secondly, does anyone know whether I can use the CVD resolution setting when doing DVD2DVD to create a Half D1 DVD??

1. Good question. We are currently testing the latest DVD2SVCD beta. Since it looks likely to be the last release for a while it is being tested in every configuration to resolve as many issues as possible before public release. I shall look into AVI2CVD in the latest version and if the bug has not been fixed I shall report it to the author. It will be released soon but no date has yet been announced.

2. I don't see why not. I've never tried but the facility exists and the output would fall within DVD specifications. The only possible issue I can forsee is with Sonic Scenarist, which many users have found a little fussy. You may have to author the output manually if this transpires to be the case.

And yeah, I don't have scenarist so I am used to authoring my own dvd's using TMpegDVDAuthor.

2.- Just to confirm I've used D2S with CVD & VCD resolutions with IFOEdit authoring without any problem (for DVD extras). I'm a PAL user.
