If your files appear to be in order, this could be a problem with getting them burned properly. Here's a link to the DVD2SVCD Official Q&A (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21859). Scroll down to Q61, it will give directions for the use of Daemon Tools (http://www.daemon-tools.cc/portal/download.php?sid=86f9c7ebbf08edc6a1d7ec458f0194d6), a program which will allow you to create a virtual drive from which you can use your favorite burning app to burn an image copy. This procedure is also referred to as the "foolproof method".

Q70 of this same document deals with issues concerning .avi files. HTH's, if not, please report back. :)

HI there, here is what I did:

I used DVD2SVCD to make a movie from avi2vcd (and there came a "bin" and a "cue" file), and then
I downloaded DAEMON Tools like you adviced me to do. and started the program.

Then I Mounted the cue image with Daemon tools and burned the vcd with Nero!

But it still doesn't work.

The movie could play about 13 minutes and the DVD player starts to say that the cd is Dirty but it isn't. There is nothing wrong with the cd, so what could be the problem.!!

please help me

You could have a media compatibility problem. With these links, you can do some checking on the compatiblity of both your burner, and standalone player, with the media you're currently using.
player/media compatibility (http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers)
burner/media compatibility (http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdwriters)
You could also search out compatible RW'able media to use until you get this sorted. Might save a coaster or three! :)

Hi!

Also there are tales about DVD players, that can not play hi speed written CDs. Mine can play even x32 written, but sometimes it freezes for a while. I was told, that Thompsons can play only x1 speed written CDs. So Burn slow, if U did not, and try again.

Let us know, how far you get with this.
