Newbie: I'm having problems trying to set the capture resolution in VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1. When I go to "Set custom video format" and try to select another resolution besides 320x240 (I'm on NTSC), such as 720x480, 704x480, 640x480, or 320x480, I get an error saying "Error 418: Unsupported video format." 320x240 works fine. I also can set the first number to a higher resolution, and it works as long as the second number is 240. I've turned off overlay and tried preview, but it doesn't help. Any idea what could be happening or how to fix it?
I would have to think my card supports these higher resolutions: Leadtek TV2000 XP Expert with the Conexant CX2388X 10-bit chipset. Also, I can set a higher capture resolution under WinFast PVR and it seems to work. I'm using the latest Leadtek WDM drivers. I don't know if there are 3rd party drivers available for the CX2388X chip (WDM or VfW)? I've also selected YUY2 (does any one know of a FAQ or something talking about the difference in these different data formats & the difference between these & codecs like Huffyuv?).
Thanks for any help!
