Tried to get the question in my subject.
I have many short DVDs (pre Kiddie dvds) that I would like to shrink to one DVD.
most of the shorts are from 1.5G to 2.5G. Any ideas on how to get the different titles on one disk?
Also, would making a menu for each finished disk be possible?
thanks,
HL

to have a menu on your dvd you will need to author them with a dvd authoring software.
You don't say how many clips you have alltogether, but if they will fit on one dvd then it is just a matter of reauthoring them to one discs. If they do not fit on one disc then you will need to re-encode them to fit on one disc with a mpeg encoder such as "cinema craft encoder", this is presuming your clips are in the mpeg2 format as you do not say which video format you have them in.
There are pleny of guides and threads on Doom9 on how to do these things, just use the search.

You can do that without reencoding with DVD Shrink: have a look at this guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdshrink31-multidisc.htm).
Consider that there's no need for the virtual drive trick explained in the guide: DVD Shrink can open folders with DVD files as if they were multiple DVDs, so if you want you can rip them to your HD without making images.
to have a menu on your dvd you will need to author them with a dvd authoring software.
kb_cruncher is right, with DVD Shrink you'll obtain a multi-titleset DVD with all your movies playing one after the other, but if you want a menu you have to use a more advanced authoring tool.
Have a look at DVD-lab: it has a 30 day trial, makes wonderful menues and lets you import VOB files.
