AVI2DVD Question?

I set the bitrate to 4350 so was expecting the mpv file to be around 4gb, but it turned out to be only 2.52gb. Question is i know 4350 is supposed to be the maximum file size but should it also be the minimum too? Or isn't there a minimum size? All my other avi conversions seemed to be the right size and i haven't changed any settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How long was your video? You say you set the bitrate to 4350, this is not the same as setting image (disc) size.

The image size comes under the bitrate tab in DVD2SVCD, so 4350 is the image size i think.

If you set disc size as 4350, the final size depends on your settings for max bitrate, the encoder settings you are using and the length of the input file.

As jikchung said, if you still have the dvd2svcd log file please cut and paste in in reply to this thread as this contains pretty much all the info we could possibly need to be of assistance.
