OK so I did my 1st successful backup w/ DVDMaestro / DVD2AVI / AVS / CCE combo lol. (Underworld NTSC / 3200 kbps/5pass / untouched menus / trailers).
I had too many issues with the Big3 (always end up with an entire DVD of 2.8 gigs) so I couldn't be bothered (i also had many menu issues).
I like the room you give yourself with the DVDMaestro method .. if you ever did Divx 3.11 or even Divx 4.x/5.x + w/ VDub .. you can do this method! EVEN DA n00bs! .. like me! :D
(this was my 1ST attempt, i'm actually backing up Spiderman as I write this; 4000kbit/5pass w/ untouched menus & trailers @ 3300kbit/9pass)
BIG THANKS goes out to Trilight for that magnificent guide. It's users like Doom9, Trilight, Eyes'Only, aquabubble, & so many others i'm forgeting that put in so many hours into teaching us how to decompile / rebuild our own DVDs. For that I say .. THANK U!
