Hello!

I have a problem..and searched nearly everywhere, but didnt find a solution.

i wanted to backup my dvd "to catch a thief". so i startet with dvd decrypter to rip it onto my harddisk. fine.
seems to be fine, i can play the dvd with windvd and it works all.
now, 2nd step: i wanted to backup this directory with instantcopy so, that i can burn in onto DVD-R.
i startet instant, let all at default, select my directory where my ripped dvd is and select another directory on my harddisk where the target shall be written (sorry for my english... :)
..so instant starts..till it says "video analysis 1/5" or somethink like that..and now all my system is hang up. everytime same thing.

soo, all programms are originals! the dvd is my original. i dont use copied programs - if u think that could be the problem.

so, what could it be? instant shows a black blank little screen in its window and all stops. can it be my graphics driver????????

all other programs run fine.

somecan help?

Instant copy usually crashes on me the first time I try to do a new dvd with it, during the analysis phase like you mentioned. If I close everything and try again, it usually works. Sometimes I reboot just to be certain everything is shutdown completely. Just another pinnacle bug like the undersizing I suppose.

I recognized something weired. if i use the instant copy hidden settings editor and mark the "hide preview video....blabla" - so that no black screen will appear at the start of the video analysis the program doesnt crash. could it realy be something with my graphics card?? i have a normal radeon 9500 pro working with all programms and games i have.
did someone else having problems with the video analysis??
