Please HELP, Virtualdubmod will not start at all :-(

I cannot get virtualdubmod to start at all.
funny thing is i was using it 5 minutes ago and have done nothing on the pc since.

It does not matter which version i try to start(i have several).

I click the shortcut to it and nothing happens, no errors, nothing what so ever.Same thing happens when trying to start it from the exe its self.

I have deleted every instance of vdubmod from the registry, this got me the "start for the first time" screen, then i press ok and try to start it again and nothing.

Virtualdub works just fine.

Does anyone have an idea about what may be causing this to happen.I am going out of my wits as i use it on a daily basis.

Maybe you've done something you don't remember.

-Installed the latest Avisynth 2.54?

If so, then EMPTY your PlugIn-Folder and try again!

If VirtualDubMod starts - find out which filters causes the problem. I've had the same problem and found two filters written in C requirering the avisynth_c.dll. Now they have to be kept somewhere else and not in the PlugIn-Folder. By the way, you can load them via "LoadCPlugin".

May be an instance of VDM is already running in background. Taskmanager shows if there is..then end process..restart.
