Hi,

I am not sure if this is a DVD2DVDr or IFOEDIT issue, both are sensational tools :-) im just having a small issue with one/both of them!

The problem is with DVD2DVDr and IFOEDIT where upon DVD2DVDr finishing the cce stage, it tries to author the dvd in IFOEDIT - at this stage IFOEDIT seems to stop at the point where it would add the video title. There are no error messages visable, just an open dialogue box prompting for the path to the video file.

At first I thought it may be a power-saving problem whereby there is a timeout of some sort, but after disabling all the options (apart from monitor power off) the problem persists.

I note on the last title I had an issue with, the audio delay was minus 80ms in the info.txt file. The issue has occured with 0ms delay audio streams also.

I had this problem initially with DVD2DVDr 1.5/ifoedit 0.95 and had hoped it would go away with DVD2DVDr 1.8 using ifoedit 0.96.

Typically I set dvd2dvdr to not delete unnecessary files - this way at least if it 'crashes' I can manually mux and build an ISO. The problem does not occur every time (just most times!)

My system is Win2000 sp3, there is approx 30gb free on the drive doing the 'work', pentium 4, 512mb ram.. I am running the process from a ISO image mounted with deamon tools, however seeing as dvddecrypter has already demuxed I fail to see the significance of this :)

Note, I also encountered this problem on 3 other machines! so I dont think its machine related - perhaps just me related :)

Any ideas?

Regards,
Mr.Bitey

Hi.

Did you succeed when trying to mux the files manually with ifoedit?
Did you interact with the system while the process works in the
background? Due to the concept of dvd2dvd-r that would probably be
a bad idea.

I guess you've already checked for answers on the dvd2dvd-r forum pages, but I can't imagine that this is a bug. Task is to simple and
I never encountered the problem when using this proggie.

Thanks for the reply I8UB4U81,

Yes, the files manually mux fine.

Once i begin the dvd2dvdr process, the machine is not touched (usually the last pc task prior to bed-time).

I would ask on te dvd2dvdr site, but being an english only reading/speaking person its sort of tough given the site is only in german (unless theres a mirror i dont know about?)

Cheers,
