I am having a problem with my Scenarist. Every time the simulation window is moved or touched, Scenarist freezes up for about 5 seconds afterwards. This is only when the simulation window is touched. Very strange!! We were running 2.7 with a Matrox Parhelia card for video out which at the time I didn't think was officialy supported, so I put the anomaly down to this. However we have now upgraded to Scenarist 3.0 which does officialy support the Parhelia, even providing an option for it during installation. Guess what? It still freezes. I have tried reinstalling Scenarist 3.0 and choosing the no hardware option, but strangely it is still freezing!! Sonic support suggested updating the bios on my Parhelia card which I did, this did not help either. We have also tried formating, but the problem returns like a bad smell. Could it be something else causing this anomaly? has anyone else experienced this freezing I have described?
There is one other oddity about using the Parhelia for video out in Scenarist. For it to work properly, the simulation window needs to be full screen and in the right hand monitor (The overlay monitor on a Parhelia card) other wise the picture does not appear on the monitor or it is in a strange position or wrong aspect ratio!!
Anyway, I really hope someone else has experienced these problems and can help. Thanks.
