Good Day All...

I've go this problem, that maybe someone can help me out with.

I've done a search on the site, but can't find an answer to the problem, except that maybe I need to change the max bitrate from 9000, to 8500.

Here is the log from Scenarist...

Hi,

The error message: Error Total sector size<2296114> is larger than DVD disc capacity<2294912> means that the image created is too large for the target disk. I set the output size in DVD2DVD to 4470MB in order to counteract this problem. If you look at the VIDEO_TS directory that scenarist created, you'll see that the files are slightly over the maximum allowable size.

The maximum allowable is as follows:

Blank DVD-R 4,489MB 4,706,074,624 bytes or 4.383GB
Blank DVD+R 4,483MB 4,700,372,992 bytes or 4.377GB

You could do the encode again with a smaller target size, but I would probably use shrink (with no compression) to crop it down to a manageable size (use the start/end function to do this).

Regards,
Bob
