IEEE 1394 card

I recently installed a IEEE 1394 card for purpose of capturing DV video. Why does this 1394 card show up as bridge in my LAN and internet connections? Foz

Because you can use it as a network adaptor as well as you can connect harddrives to it - or your camcorder :)
