Hi,

i tested the last two days to get Aliens (original Version) sync.
(Alien 1 works fine). (testing and a lot of searching in the Forum but i don't find any solution)

Source: Alien - Quadrologie Box

1st Test:
Ripping - DVD Decrypter - IFO Mode - ripped one PGC
DVD2AVIdg - get delay -24ms
Encode - AviSynth and VdubMod (XviD)

at the beginning it is sync.. but after a while it get out of sync (Audio to early)... at the end the sound is again in sync (rather sync)

----

2nd Test:
Ripping - DVD Decrypter - File Mode - All Files
IfoEdit - Removed Seamless Branching (stripped the Directors Cut)
DVD2AVIdg - get delay -24ms
Encode - AviSynth and VdubMod (XviD)

same Problem.

The VOB Files are in sync !!!

i stripped the AC3 Files with DVD2AVIdg, DVD2AVI, VobEdit and vStrip but always the same problems.

Is there any Way to get a sync AC3 Stream ?!?
I think it's caused by remove Seamless Branching

PS: hope that isn't the wrong forum

@ Asslicker,

open video file in VirtualDubMod add audio in STREAMS./note audio length/
On timebar move slider to the end /better with >button/ read video length.
Go to VIDEO folder FRAME RATE and monitor values there.
Having data of video and audio lengths and seeing values from frame rates make conclusions and set corrections.

PS Can I read F***ING as FIXING your problems?, if yes so it is nice.
