Hello everyone..

Im a newbie and have been trying some different transcoders until today. I like Recode2 the most. Easy to use and the ability to code a stream in black (disabling). After I use Recode2, I use Menuedit to remove the buttons to the clips and sound I removed and that also works fine. But now I have noticed, that some of the DVD I did make using Recode2, isnt linking correct to the audio commentary track. Example:

The Sum of All Fears (R2, Scandinavian release):
1. DD 5.1 (english)
2. DD 5.1 (non-english)
3. DD stereo (commentary 1)
4. DD stereo (commentary 2)

What I did, was that I removed the second DD5.1 (non-english) audiotrack, no problems with removing it. But when I test it after Recode2, then I start the movie, press the commentary menu, select commentary 1 or 2. When the movie starts, then the wrong audio track is used. How can this be corrected ??

Well, you will have to use IfoEdit to do it, but 2COOL wrote a great guide that should help you through it. Check out this guide for more information:

Good luck.

After following 2COOL's guide I see, that Recode2 did a correct job correcting the IFO Files. Here is the original audiotracks:

Audio 1: English (Dolby AC-3) 6ch 48Kbps DRC (ID: 0x80)
Audio 2: Czech (Dolby AC-3) 6ch 48Kbps DRC (ID: 0x81)
Audio 3: English (Dolby AC-3) 2ch 48Kbps DRC (ID: 0x82)
Audio 4: English (Dolby AC-3) 2ch 48Kbps DRC (ID: 0x83)

After I stripped audio with Recode2, then it look like this:

Audio 1: English (Dolby AC-3) 6ch 48Kbps DRC (ID: 0x80)
Audio 3: English (Dolby AC-3) 2ch 48Kbps DRC (ID: 0x82)
Audio 4: English (Dolby AC-3) 2ch 48Kbps DRC (ID: 0x83)

Also these infos are correct (from 2COOL's Guide):

VTS_#: Number of audio streams in Title (VTSTT_VOBS).........3
Number of audio streams in Title (VTSTT_VOBS).........3

I think the menus are linking uncorrectly. When I select commentary 1 (audio3) from the commentary menu, then I hear commentary 2 (audio4). When I select commentary 2 from the commentary menu, then when the movie starts, I hear The Main Audiotrack (Audio1). Its behaving like there still are 4 audiotracks. Can someone help me? I have no clue what to do

@badash

Follow this guide (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46909). I think Recode has shifted your audio streams up/forward so you need to put them back to where they originally was. Just keep Audio stream 2 at 0 for default audio to play or 33024, if you want silence. ;)

Thanx 2COOL...

You really are 2-Cool :D It worked. Next time I have a problem, I will do a better research in your guides before posting, I'm convinced that you anyway have the answer ready.

I anyway have a last question :) When I choose commentary 2 it is being showed as Audio04 in WinDVD (probaly with other players too), and not english like the 2 other audiotracks. How can this be corrected ??
