Above burner with Ritek GO4 media, is aborting and ruining the media after burning the lead in. error in nero6 version 6032 is scsi command error.?? The background is my laptop burns fine using my sony 500, but displays above problem with the pioneer 106d, the same fault also appears on my friends identical laptop. Here is where it gets interesting, the same dvd file i used above was converted to an iso using nero, and burnt fine using dvd decrypter. I also used decrypter to produce an iso from a previously backed up film via the burner and then burnt it using decrypter with no problems. Has anybody any thoughts or suggestions on whats going on here, as it appears there cannot be a fault on the pioneer, or could there, or there is an incompatability with nero 6. firmware is version 1.07, running xp home sp1 and all updates.

In either Nero 5.5 or 6 there is a program in the tools section called Nero Information Tool. It gives you info on all the drives youhave in your system but most importantly, when you click the aspi tab and the configuration tab will let you know if the aspi is installed and operating properly and if your DMA is on and the drives recognized.

I have a DVR106 and burn with Nero using G04's all the time with no prob.

Glitches can corrupt your aspi and before I start to burn or work on a project I give it a quick check just to sure. Most of the time is fine but, have had to reinstall aspi at times

If you have an aspi problem, try ForceAspi, in the download section

I am running XP Pro and NTSF file system
