Hello,
I am looking at purchasing a Kworld 878RF-pro. I have a Fic Motherboard with a Raedon 8,500 with 128Megs on the video card and 128 in the memory bank. It is low priced but it can capture at the full Mpeg 2 resolution. I am going to use it for backing up my old VCR Tapes so I guess i'll only be using the Mpeg1 capabilities. I've noticed that there is an updated version of this card that can capture in Mpeg4. Is this a better card, anyone use it? I use Gordian Knot to convert the Avi's. Do i need it to capture in Mpeg4 from a VCR RCA type plug? Easier to process in Gordian knot?
I have seen the Pinnacle Studio AV, but it says you need a SCUSI
drive to capture at 640x480 which is its limits. Any suggestions about a good capture card i dont know about?
I have a old K2-450 mhtz Fic503+ with a Rage fury pro with Vivo capture. Is this good enough for a quality capture? Then when I use Gordian Knot to encode it I think that it would probably crap out pretty bad.
Any suggestions appreciated!!!!!!
