random freezes on 2nd audio stream (MP3 VBR)

hi all,
can someone help me with this ?
Everytime I try to play back an XviD movie [Matroska]using the second audio stream, after some minutes the video would just stop playing; it's not a complete freeze, when I jump to another location on the trackbar everything works fine again.
Is there any solution for this ?

P.S.: sorry I forgot these:

Codec is Koepi's "Selam"
Dshow filter: ffdshow, no post processing
OS: Win2000 SP4

Have you installed Matroska Pack v1.01 [httP://packs.matroska.org], with a special audio switcher.

Btw, what player are you using? MPC has a inbuilt audio switcher.

Thanks a lot Tuning; just downloaded and installed the package, it didn't help though.
Anyway, it's good to know there is a package like this available, makes things less confusing ;)

I'm using MPC, btw.
