So I found a guide on how to make a mix DVD from DVDRHelp and almost got it working.

I've cut the clips with DVDShrink, ran it to ReJig to fix audio then going to TMPGEnc DVD Author to do the menus.

Now some of the clips works fine (ex. Matrix lobby) but my Fifth Element clip didn't have audio. While I was at DVD Author it was saying something about exceeding bit rate allowable?

Not sure how to fix that. Any suggestions from the pro's here?

Thanks

I always ignore that. I set the max bitrate in CCE not to exceed 9000, sometimes 8500 and I still get that error. I'm guessing it has to do with TMPG's DVDAuthor.

Speaking of, have you tried TMPG's AC3 encoder? Was wondering how it was and if it were worth the purchase.

actually I haven't.

I tried to make my first mixed DVD with menu's today and some clips doesn't have any audio. I was thinking I may need this encoder but wasn't sure what it did or if it will take care of my problem.

You shouldn't need it, MP2 audio should work fine. It's just a nice format to have for DVDs/Receivers that won't process MP2 from a DVD source.
