I have been trying to use "DVD Shrink", but I have been having problems. I was originally using "CladDVD" & DVD2AVI", but I am using 98SE, and nnow Clad won't work with 98, but XP. My problems are I can rip a movie to my Hard Drive, but one problem I am haaving is, after I get it to my HD, I can not get "TMPGEnc" to read it. I was using that with "Clad". I also do not have A DVD Burner, but a CD Burner, and for some reason, I can not shrink it enough, to fit on a CD. My Second & 3rd Questions are why is it, that you have two folders, one for sound, and one for videos, but the folder, for audio, is always empty? I also noticed the the main screen to see the movie, I can hear sound, but no picture. Can someone please tell me, what, I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help...

U said it yourself, u were using dvd2avi with claddvd to prepare the d2v project and frameserve it. U need to do the same thing now that u switched ripper.

Check frameserving section (http://www.doom9.org/doc-overview.htm#frameserving) on the guides on the exacts of the procedure.

Since u r a beginer I would recommend basic vfapi (http://www.doom9.org/sbc-basicsetup.htm) before feeling competent enough to move to avisynth (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/d2a-mpeg2dec.htm).

However study the rest of the vfapi files in this section and everything will run smoothly.

Don't forget u r in a doom9 forum. We'll get to the bottom of this.
