IC8 speed

Hi, first time try IC8. I first used DVD shrink to get rid of things I don't need and rip DVD into a video folder on hard drive. Then I use IC8 to downsize it. Compression rate is about 70%. Now this is taking 2 hours to compress it. Isn't it a bit tooooooooooo long? DVD shrink only takes about 25 minutes on my PC. What am I doing wrong?

You didn't do anything wrong. It's just the way IC8 works and takes a little longer for recompression but the result is better then DVDShrink.

If you're doing movie only, you should try DVD2DVD. Takes longer, but makes great copies.
