Hi everybody
I have just reinstalled Windows 98 SE directly from Windows (not from DOS, in fact I didnt formatted my hard disk before reinstalling)due to some deleted files by my little brother and I just got now a BIG problem when playing videos (of course this problem didnt happen before reinstalling Windows 98)

When I play any movie with any media player(Windows Media Player, PowerDVD, Bsplayer, etc), it is played in a very variable speed: lets say in a example: it plays one second fine, but the next two seconds the video is played at 1.5x or 2x times the normal playing speed. This way, I cant watch a movie correctly, because the audio also is accelerated and i cant understand anything from the movies.

Does somebody here know what is the origin of the problem?
I tried reinstalling Windows Media Player, but nothing happens, the bug continues.

Somebody please! Help

Thankx!
