Hi all,
I have been using DVD2SVCD in DVD2DVD mode for quite some time now in combination with D2SRoBa. On the original Donnie Brasco DVD there are 2 subtitle streams in the same language (Dutch). One stream (0x21) is for widescreen subs, the other stream (0x22) for letterboxed subs. The problem is that DVD2SVCD recognizes 3 streams:
- an empty one
- Dutch #1
- Dutch #2
When selecting both the Dutch streams, only 1 survives and is present in the encoded movie. The other one disappears. BUT...the one surviving the encode isn't like the original. The characters have some gray dots around the edges. Looks terrible!
So...
....how can I get both display modes into my encode?
....how can I get the subs exactly as the original?
