Hi im pretty new to this, but im trying to transcode a 3hour 2 channel ac3 clip to .mp2.
I use BeSweet v1.5b25 and select the dvd profile (mp2 @ 192kbit) and click go and the process runs for a while and gives me a huge mp2 file.
Like the origional was like 300megs and the resulting mp2 file is 1,9gigs... and the stream is corrupted. winamp cant read it..

anyone have any idea? and what to try?

It is always best IMHO to first uncompress to a wav and then recompress from a wav. Going from compressed format to compressed format is asking for problems.

@TEB

BeSweet for AC3>Mp2 is done all the time, please post your logfile for more assistance.
