I use DVD2ONE all versions and on some DVD`s after recording with any ver of nero the movie skips throug all the chapters. The movie will play on any other DVD standalone I try except Sony.
Is their a problem with Sony players and DVD2ONE.
Most recent problem is with Open Range.
The problem goes away if I use Dvdshrink.
Any help would be appreciated.

Could you specify the model of Sony player your trying on? I've got quite a range of them to try on, so I could test.
Cheers,

(I'd like to find out what DVD2One could be doing wrong, so I don't make the same mistakes ;)

I used to have problems on my SONY Stand alone. I resolved the problems by using a good brand of DVD+R, upgrading the firmware of my burner (very important in some cases) and by using STOMP instead of Nero.
Maybe this can help you, most of problems have been resolved since i've done the above.
The only problem that i still have is I sometimes loose my DTS sound when I use DVD2DVD-R.

2 of the DVD players are Sony DVP 815 and DVP PQ1 I have one other Sony that doesn`t work but its away at school with my son.
Model DVP NS 325B
They just skip all of the chapters chapters.
DVD2ONE author told me it`s with older Sony players. These players are not that old.
Any help would be appreciated
thanks

Look at your first two files before you burn the disc. I am sure they are both 6kb each. I use dvdfab to correct dvd sectors before I burn and it makes them 8kb. I have sony players as well. See if this helps.

The first two files are 24kb with either dvd2one or dvdshrink.
When using infoedit in the past I could never figure out when to get VTS sectors. Half the time I did it the DVD`s would never work.
Is their a way to know when to do this
thanks

I tried to burn with copytodvd ver 242 and got the same results as nero
the movie skips through all the chapters.
I still fell it is a problem specific to DVD2ONE. I just wish I knew how to recognize the problem DVD`s
