IC7 problem with finished DVD

Specs:
Win2K SP3 with all hotfixes before SP4, Intel i845e mobo
IC7.11, latest patch. Use IC7 batch file to register/unregister vob2mpg.ax
PC has tons of video editing and DVD type software. All works fine, until now.

I've made 100 or so burns so far on my Pioneer A04 burner using IC7, CCE methods, DVD Shrink, DVD95Copy, etc. But just lately, I haven't been able to make a good IC7 burn. I don't know why. Something in my configuration must have changed.

After I create the PDI and burn to a DVD-R (with DVD Decrypter, RecordMax, whatever), the final DVD plays funny in my DVD player. It's extremely blocky with massive tears in the video. It's almost like a corrupt SVCD type video. My burner still works. DVD Shrink and other programs still work. Only IC7 is now doing this.

Any ideas?

Did you checked whether the original video (on harddisk) has any problems? Perhaps the problem happened on reading the DVD (but not so probable when DVDShrink works with the same files)...
Anyway, what happens if you rename .pdi01 to .vob and watch it in a software player? Or if you use the written DVD and watch it with a software player? Is the distortion always the same at the same position? What if writing with IC7?

I don't write with IC7, and never did so that's not a factor.

The only thing strange is the last two DVD's which this issue were NTSC video based, not film. They are rock concerts.

Does Instant Copy have a problem with NTSC 30fps video?

I use it with NTSC 30fps and have never had a problem. I let IC do the burning, though.

I just didn't work with this one DVD. I used Shrink instead. IC7 worked on the next two (movie) DVD's I did, so my installation is still sound.

For those who care, if you have Triumph - Live at the US Festival, and it backs up correctly with IC7/8, let me know.
