Hi!

I've tried to encode couple of movies with Xvid using asharp and deen filters... the final file is allways too small or too big.

What is the problem here? If the filesize is too small, should I increase resolution or what?

Is there any simple guide to how different settings effect the filesize? Witch reduce/increase the final filesize.

Thanks in advance!

Ok, you could use the SEARCH (http://forum.doom9.org/search.php?s=) button...

So, only a very short answer...

Raises the filesize:

- Higher resolution

- Sharpening filters

- Lanczos resizing

- XviD's MPEG matrix

Lowers the filesize:

- Lower resolution

- Denoise filters

- Bilinear resizing

- XviD's H.263 matrix

- Using B-VOP's
