On my system I noticed that the combination of using Media Player Classic, VSFilter 2.32, and Huffy 2.20 results in MPC locking up. When attempting to play a Huffy AVI, the slider goes to the far right and MPC stalls with a "Pause" status.
Disabling or removing VSFilter appears to correct the problem, By disabling, I changed the from "Always Load" to "Load when needed".
