recover

Help me!I was encoding a DVD to avi with avs2avi but suddenly my pc has turned off when i was zbout at 80% of my job.Now i have a 700 MB avi:must i restart from the beginning or can i recover this file and make another encoding starting from the last frame of my 700 mb avi file?

I think the output file, supposed to be lost due to improper shutdown would be of no use. Most probably it may have corrupted and you could not repair it. Of course any restoration program will restore it. But I suspect it will not be in working condition. There are pleanty of threads related to data recovery. :search:
