changing fousCC damages AVI-file, please help

I damaged my xvid-avi-file by changing the fourCC with the little Programm from koepi. After changing the fourCC, the resolution is
640x42423523423423 instead of 640x480. While opening in VirtualDub I get a "memory-Error" and can't play it nor change it to a proper resolution. Any help and/or suggests?

Did you try to open it in Vdubmod?

uninstall what ever you are now using (after fourcc) to decode it. you should now be able to change it back with koepis progie
