Xvid 1.0 beta 3 settings question question

How do I adjust the number of b-frames and Quant type in 1.0 beta-3???
Since I installed 1.0b3 & gknot 0.28.7.2(upgrade from gknot 0.28.3) these boxes have disappeared from the codec options settings.I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both but still no b-frame & quant type options.Any help would be appreciated.

if you'd done any searching :search: before posting you'd know by now that xvid 1.0b3 does not work with gordian knot.

Howdy twister.:)

Use gordian knot as you normally would. But when you go to save the avs file and encode, just save it instead.

Then run virtualdubmod manually and open the avs file and encode it yourself.

In the xvid settings, you will see next to Profile @ level, and encoding type there are boxes with ( ... ) select them for advanced options (b-frames, quant type etc).

Oh and I advise you to become one with the search feature:D LOL.
The more you use it the easyer it becomes to find the sh*t you want.
Also, the new beta's aint old, looking back through a couple of pages in here will reveal ALOT of usefull info reguarding xvid.

Now what keyword/s should I use.;)
