I have used roxio software for years but not to burn dvds. They did however make it simple now to burn DVDS after using dvdshrink to move the dvd to your hardrive. You need the latest updates because the disk copier with the first verion of six did not have the option needed. Here are the steps I used.
1. Use dvdshrink to make a copy of the disk to your hardrive. You can if you want uncheck some of the sound for different languages, and you you can use dvdshrink to reauthor the movie if you do not want all the movie on disk. But if you just want a simple copy proceedure then just input your disk load dvdshrink hit open disk and go to the dvd disk, then after it is loaded hit backup and backup it to a folder you have on your hardrive VIDEO_TS if you do not have one make one. Once the disk it backup then go to disk copier and under select pick DVD video content and go to the VIdeo_TS folder and select it then just burn your disk. It was simple and since dvdshrink is free and disk copier is part of version six you do not need to purchase any other software.
