I just backed up a flick using dvdshrink - just the main movie, removed all audio and subs other than 5.1 and english. The weird thing is that when I put in the movie it plays fine until I fastforward. As soon as I do that the english subtitles start playing. Any advice on how to fix this?

What version of DVD Shrink was used, and have you tried the latest one?

using latest version 3.1.3 - also I did another movie with dvdshrink (same process as before) and this time the english subs just start automatically. ???? Is there a way to force subs off with dvdshrink?

Only in re-author mode: right-clicking on a title will give you options for the audio and subpicture default streams.

okay, so "no default subpicture" is selected by default, but this is still happening to me. Should I select "no subpicture" or will that stop the english subs from coming up when there is foreign language?
