Hi folks:

I am not quite sure if it's ok that I am placing this question here.
But here we go.

I dont have a webcam and actually I got a ccd and a tv card.
So basically I plug the ccd to composite-in of my tv card and let MSN captures the device. Which works fine when I was adjust the video in Audio/Video Tuning Wizard. The picture looks ok and smooth.

Theoretically, the picture this method procudes should be way better than any picture that USB 1.1 webcam shows.

However, when I got to Web Camera setting in MSN 6.1, the whole thing screwed. The quality still looks ok, but the picture delays like hell. It's like only 1 frame per second. At this point, I haven't started the conversation with anybody, so there shouldn't be any connection lag involves. And this problem only occurs in MSN.

When I tried Netmeeting that comes with Windows XP. It works fine. Or I use program like WINDVR, VirtualVCR, they all detect the device and show great picture and no delay at all.

I tried to make all software and drivers up-to-date.
Still screwed.

Here is my hardware:

Pentium3 600, 256MB memory, 17GB hard drive, 3DFX Voodoo3 3000, Upmost Good TV card, built-in sound card.

I guess there shouldn't be any hardware problem at all since it only not working on MSN.

Great thanks to any advises.

Nope, i dont use a router.

As i mentioned above, there should be anything to do with the network I'll say. Since the picture delays even I haven't started the conversation with anyone, I only tune it in the settings.

Should be MSN's problem but I cannot figure it out.
