I got some problem.

1) DiskDoctor (Norton Utilities) doesn't work on my system disk. It says the following:

I tried disabling everything with Task Manager (including virus scanner, firewall), but it didn't help.

Disk defrag also doesn't work:

It works fine on the rest of my partitions. But I have no clue what to do. Please help.

Btw, I'm using W2k and have admin rights (and logging in as adminstrator gives the same problems).

As for disc doctor, did you try what it recommends you, i.e. schedule a scan at bootup? I read that the NU2001 are unable to scan your system disk at any other time that bootup.
As for the defragger, I have no idea. You do use it on a FAT partition, I assume?

I recently bought norton sys tools 2004 regular ed. only to find that it did not work with ntfs file system. I believe pro ed. does. By the way norton did refund my money with no questions asked which was a pleasant surprise
