Welcome to the forum!
Power calibration errors are often the result of using poor quality media. Have you recently started using from a new spindle of discs? Have you had success with discs from the batch that's currently in use when you receive this error? Try using this link to research your burner/media compatibility (http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdwriters), and check out the comments offered, as well. This may not solve your problem, but it's a place to start. :) If you rule out media as the culprit, you could detail your burning procedures, one of the members might spot the problem if it lies there.

Its a hardware failure, 99% due to bad or defective writing media. Change the dvdr u r using or its brand.

Is the 1300 a 4x writer, or is it an older one? Perhaps it just needs a firmware update to recognize 4x media (remember all the 4x media warnings for 2x drives).
