Hi to all.
I have 2 problems.
The first:
I have 2 menu and the 1st menu has a long animation (about 15 sec). After the animation end, the menu1 calls (and go) to menu2 (Menu1 -> Menu2) so I would like to know if there's a way to let the user "skip" part of the animation and go directly to Menu2 using the chapter button on the standalone player (or software player like WinDVD).
I've seen that some commercial dvd has this "feature" but i don't know how to reproduce it with Maestro (i'm unable to use Scenarist). In practical, Menu1 starts then user click on "next chapter" and Menu2 appear (without wait Menu1 end).

The second problem is:
In a movie I can choose (in connections -> Menu Key) the menu to load if a user click on the "menu" button (on the standalone). I would like to do the same thing in my menu (not only in the movie). I have leaved unchecked the "Menu (Root Menu)" option in the Menu proprieties but I can't decide what action to do (Maestro seems to jump everywhere and i can't decide WHERE to jump).

Sorry for my english... thanks for any answer.

If you do it like this...

Make the animation (menu1) one menu, and set it's end action to Menu2, then when they press next or fastforward to the end of menu1, it will automatically take you to the next menu.

Thanks for your response.
The "end state" of Menu1 is "Timeout 0" and in the Menu1 connection i've setup under the "timeout" propriety the loading of Menu2. So when Menu1 go to the end it'll load Menu2. This works... but the chapter button ("next chapter" is enabled in Maestro) doesn't work.
I've changed the "start/loop" slider in the menu1 (keeping the end state to timeout 0) moving the slider at the end of Menu1. In this "configuration" the chapter button seems to work... but i dunno if this it's the right method... (and i dunno if this method works with all standalone dvd players)
Any further idea?
Thanks again!

When you say it doesn't work in Maestro, are you talking about it's navigation sim. ? That's not 100% worked out.... try compiling it and watching it on your computer/burning it and watching it on your TV.

Doesn't work in Maestro Nav. Simulator and doesn't work in Sonic CinePlayer... but works in WinDVD and on my XBOX... Uhmm...
Thanks anyway!
