Strangely it works in safe mode. I've formatted my computer, doubled checked my ASPI version, everything that I can think of. But still it exits the gui then the process eats all my speed until I end the process. Windows XP BTW.
Anyone ever seen this before?
I'm going crazy here.
There is another box here that is almost exactly the same hardware wise with the same upto date drivers I'm using with no issues. Very few software differences an none of the differences are things loading when the computer it turned on.
Update: ARG! 2.6 does it also.]
Update update: ok here is the deal, if I put copies of the ASPI layer into the directory with Scenarist it will sorta work, but with an error that says.
"A problem was found Accessing the SCSI library: 0xeb"
This added with the fact that the no ASPI messgae is gone with ANY apsi installed leads me to think that its obviously not only aspi but that my system can SEE an aspi layer installed by no application can use the apsi layer unless I put aspi files into the directory of the program (which of course doesn't count as an actual aspi layer) . ASPI Check says its fine and ready to go of course.
