Because you can use Shrink to compress menues, cut our streams you don't want etc. but without any compression to the main movie and then use IC7 or 8 simply to recode movie part. Why? Because in my experience when compression gets under 80% percent IC usualy gives better quality.

Let me try put it this way... you can use Shrink to edit all menues and stuff and then compress everything except main movie. Then you will end with a bigger file. Then you will use IC to compress main movie since it usualy gives better quality than Shrink under 80% compression.
