My method of backing up involves using dvd dec. to make an iso and then mount it with daemon-tools. Whenever I use dvd dec. to demux the 0x80 DD ac3 track, it is always the wrong time length when imported into Scenarist. The file size is correct but the length is wrong. I always have to run it thru ac3_fix to fix it. The before and after ac3 files are the same size but the newly fixed one shows the correct length in Scenarist. How can I fix this or am I doing something wrong?

Eyes and that would have a much better understanding about this stuff than I. Perhaps you already have your answer... I dunno.
Anyway, all I'm interested in is the actual difference in file content before / after fixing.
Copy you do a binary comparison or something for me ? :)

Hmm, I didn't do anything with Scenarist, but I demuxed the 6ch ac3 off of T3 with DVDDecrypter and DVD2AVIdg and they have no differences according to WinHex.
Just tossing that in there since I did my own little test out of curiosity.
