Is it possible to convert a PAL to NTSC

Hi,
I want to convert a PAL DVD9 to a NTSC DVD5.

Is this possible and if soo how is it done?

You can try PULLDOWN.EXE...

I never get it to work, but mybe it's worth a try.

pulldown is only one little piece of the equation.

You'll need to stretch the audio and resize the video as well...

It seems that its not that easy to accomplish this.
I will try pulldown and see if it works.

you could of course get a hardware player that does this for you... a lot of DVD players will convert NTSC > PAL. i've had no need to go the other way though.

if you have a multiformat TV, then don't convert at all... PAL is more efficient for progressive encodes, and you'll love the extra lines.
