Hello all,
I encode my movies to 720x480 resolution. And I want to resize some of the movies to 352x240.
I would like to ask, is there any smart way to do the resize without reencode the movies?
Thanks.

No. Resizing means reencoding.
Why would you do that anyway?

you can also use the matroska container which allows to set a new resolution on container level without the need for reencoding

bond would that reduce the bitrate though as that must be the only reason he wants to reduce the filesize.

reducing the bitrate is of course not possible without reencoding (or maybe syskin adds something like bitrate peeling in xvid :D )

If only change the header without changing the filesize, it might not be too useful for me. May be I am just too lazy, better to reencoding the movies :p
