View Full Version : ripping a damaged dvd with dvd decrypter

I've ripped a dvd which has a serious scratch.
So I've put on the "ignore errors" option to rip it.
But now the resulting .VOB is shorter than the original
Only about 10MB or so. And DVD shrink is not accepting
the shorter ripped .VOB...

Also the menu structure is now "confused" as it starts playing
another chapter to fill up this too short/small ending-vob. This
results in a jump back to the root menu.

I have tried other dvd-players/writers but the damage is too
severe, all give around 3000 reading errors.

Is there some way that dvd decrypter will insert zero's when reading
errors (instead of skipping) so the resulting ripped VOB will be
the same size as the original??
Or is there another dvd ripping program that can solve my problem?

Thanks in advance!
