Hi I am just beginning DVD authoring/burning nad have been messing around with a couple dvd's for the past 3 weeks and still have problems. I recently have been trying to backup Seabiscuit. DIF4U only selected VTS 1 and VTS 2 and the rest (VTS's 3-7) were discarded because they were under 200 mb. VTS 1 contains the actual movie and is about 6156 MB big, and VTS 2 are the extras and they're about 1488 MB. I went thru the DIF4U steps and when ReAuthorist opened up, I decided to get rid of all the extras all together so that I could have the most bitrate for the movie.
Anyways I went thru the rest of the steps and let Scenarist do it's thing. The only part I seem to be having trouble with is using IfoUpdate. As the guide says on Doom9 I only updated VTS 1 & 2 using IfoUpdate but when I created an ISO, mounted it, and then played it on PowerDVD, I realized that when at the main menu, if I go to scene selection and try to select a scene it just brings me to a generic macrovision playback. I tried to explain this as best as I can, it obviously has to do with the VIDEO_TS part of the authored dvd. Thanks
