Hello,
I am capturing my home video at 768x576 with Mirovideo DC10+, using WDM drivers. It drops frames at the moments when there is some hard distortion on the screen (blank frames for example). And it drops frames even when the picture is OK, about 1 at a 1000-2000.
I'd say, it's OK... the problem comes when i try to sync audio and video. I use Vegas for that purpose, by previewing video and cutting/moving audio track.
Is there an automated way to insert blank frames at the places where something had been dropped, using Avisynth or smth.? Even if that wouldn't set the perfect sync, at least that would show me the places where i need to cut some audio.
