The IfoEdit binary embeds at least one sizeable component that is GPL Software and as such Derrow is obliged to make the corresponding source code for the binaries available.
This will happen with the next release of IfoEdit, with the modified GPL source code available to build the dll containing this code.
When this happens all versions of IfoEdit not complying with the GPL will be removed for download from the IfoEdit homepage, and any mirrors controlled by either Derrow or MPUCoder. Other sites offering IfoEdit for download should also remove old versions.
That the binary-only release is currently being tolerated is to avoid inconveniencing would-be users of IfoEdit, but that this in no way represents the grant of a licence for binary-only distribution.
This is by agreement with the copyright holders of MPlex, specifically Dr Andrew Stevens, and must be resolved on or before April 1, 2004
