Win2k/wmp 9?

In Avisynth "Install Troubleshoot", it states that Avisynth will work with WMP 6.4 in OS XP. I use Win 2000 and WMP 9. What are my options for using Avisynth?

That won't affect how avisynth works, I think that is reffring to when you preview an avs file. Also I seem to remember playing back my avs files in WMP9.
