Does anybody know of a good all in one package that converts a DVD to a VCD automatically, other than DVD2SVCD?
No matter if you have to pay for it and its not freeware.
Thanks

dvdx would be one. Some of the DVD transcoders also offer this functionality (e.g. Instantcopy). The latter probably won't rip.
Out of curiosity: any particular reason for not using dvd2svcd?

Sorry, seems it has been answered in other majagua's thread...
@majagua
Still too slow!!! Did you try D2SRoBa? AFAIK it's the fastest encoding solution you will find.

Hi
Try http://www.eazyvcd.tk/ . It is free and can rip a three hour long DVD movie to be burnt on one single XVCD.
While I am at it, can someone help me understand how is this possible? My standalone player's clock timer stops after it has ticked 1:14 minutes or so but the movie goes on for another 1 hour and 45 minutes or so....

from memory vcd specs are that a single cd can hold up to 74 minutes of footage. notice 650meg cds say 74min on them ? thats where it comes from. so your dvd player is just taking that as being so.
