Question about the output of dvd's ripping

I use DVD Decrypter & AutoGK to rip my dvd.
Now it's a music show and not a movie so ripping it into a single file is not what I want but this is what AutoGK does.

I understand that I can go to inf mode in DVD Decrypter and rip it chapter by chapter but the problem is that with AutoGK I must choose the file size when I convert them to divx so it's quite lame.
It's not a movie that I want to fit the a cd. It's music tracks.

AutoGK has nothing to do with the decrypting process. That's DVDDecrypter.

I think you mean IFO Mode. You should rip in IFO Mode anyway, and as you say, it's easy to rip by chapter in IFO Mode.

Be very careful what you call lame. It might just boomerang on you. Maybe you don't have an up-to-date AutoGK. You can now encode using Quality Mode. Just tick "Target Quality (in Percentage)", and you will get the quality you choose (the default 75% is good), without regard to file size. Or you can choose a Custom size, such as 100 MB, and if the compression test turns out a low result, or a high result, you can adjust the file size and do it again.

If you do upgrade to AutoGK 0.86, make sure you also upgrade your DVDDecrypter to version 3.1.9.0. And beginning with AutoGK version 0.85, you can now set up AutoGK to encode all the music shows one after another, after decrypting them all separately. There's now a job queue to handle batch encoding.

And if there's something I didn't understand, maybe you can provide more complete information about your problem.

I thought that "Target Quality (in Percentage)" means the percentage from a cd size.
not a percentage from the quality of the dvd.

If all you want is music tracks, why rip the video. Simply do stream processing audio only.
